Before this site was called ‘Pathwork Lectures’ it’s name was ‘Atlas of Wisdom – Pathwork’. It was part of a series of websites with the monicker ‘Atlas of Wisdom’ and below you find the old introduction:
A Google search on March 22nd 2006 found 70 million pages about wisdom. Even the first ten results included useless resources. Most insightful articles you will never find because they are buried in the debris produced by search-and-hide-engines.
In steps the Atlas of Wisdom: a fine-tuned collection of online articles and books on psychological, spiritual and other human themes (see menu). The Atlas of Wisdom is the gateway to the outer wisdom of the web and to your inner wisdom.
The foundation of the Atlas consists of more than 2000 up-to-date articles from the evolving Internet encyclopedia Wikipedia and of around 300 Pathwork lectures and articles. Articles and books from other sources will be added continuously, some as complete texts, some as links.
The Atlas of Wisdom collection consists of articles that awake and guide us to develop:
– from second-hand knowledge to experienced insight
– from obedience to independence
– from coping with life to leading our life
– from isolation to communication
– from outer and human laws to inner and divine laws
– from outer identity to inner identity
– from being lost in thoughts and emotions to awareness of feelings, thoughts and body
– from reason to wisdom
– from material and technological obsession to spiritual desire
– from ruling leadership to serving leadership
– from appearance values to being values
– from reliance on authority to self-responsibility
– from showing our masks or idealized self to authenticity
To my teacher Marieke Mars who taught me self-honesty. To my courageous and loving pathwork helper Dottie Titus.
